We had a pretty busy few days for Thanksgiving. We went to Rico's on Wednesday after work. Thanksgiving Day was a lot of fun. We got up and watched the parade and then the Dog Show. Chris and his dad headed outside to deep fry a turkey. We all headed next to Aunt Betty's for appetizers and some yummy Rum Slushies. We came to Rico's for the dinner. Which of course was way too much food. Elena loved all of it. She was a huge fan of sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes.
Rico and Kathy and I got up at 3:30 am to do a little Black Friday shopping. We didn't get anything major but I did save a good amount of money. After a nap we headed to Cincinnati to spend some time with my family. Saturday night we went out to dinner (and AWESOME karaoke) with some friends. Overall it was a very busy few days but it was worth it to see all of our family and friends.

The weekend before Thanksgiving we put up our tree and lights. Elena took a really long nap that day so we got it all finished while she was sleeping. So far she hasn't tried to mess with the tree.
