We made it home on Sunday around noon. Everything checked out at the hospital for both Elena and I. We have to take her back on Wednesday to get her checked again for jaundice (this is normal). 
We live less than a mile from the hospital but it took us almost 10 minutes to get home. Chris drove less than the speed limit just to be careful. The dogs did really well when we got home. They were just excited to see us. We brought Elena into the house in her car seat and put it down on the ground. All the dogs sniffed and licked her but they were really nice about it. Elena has been eating really well. Chris has been SUPER helpful. He changes most of her diapers and even gets up in the middle of the night and burps her.
Today we took the dogs and Elena for a walk since it was so nice outside. Elena slept the entire time and the dogs were good as always.
