On Friday morning Elena started to smile- real smiles! She will look at Chris and I and gives us a big smile. The reason she looks like she has no arms in this picture is because she is wrapped in her Swaddle Me blanket. She looks like a mummy or a glow worm.
We went to Columbus this weekend to hang out with Brigid and Aunt Rico. Elena was really good and she slept really well for being away from home for 3 nights. Friday night E and I went out to dinner with Brigid and her mom. Elena was being a fussy butt so we were all taking turns holding her. A waitress came over (not even our waitress) and held Elena so we could all eat. It was really nice of her and she even got her to stop crying. The rest of the weekend we spent with the Vetter's. We went shopping and went out to eat a lot. It was like a mini vacation for Chris and I. We didn't have to do anything for Elena all weekend (other than me feeding her). We gave Elena a bath in the kitchen sink at Rico's and she got some hilarious pictures of her. Doesn't she look like a sumo wrestler??
